Mrcem Primary is Single best Answer (SBA) exam that is taken 2 times a year with diferent dates in June and November/December of the calendar year
Exam Consists of 180 SBA questions with 3 hours Duration
Primary exam is taken from Basic Sciences Subjects with Clinically touch
Subjects you have to Study to pass mrcem primary exam
Anatomy 60 questions
Physiology 60 questions
Pharmacology 24 questions
Microbiology 17 questions
Pathology 9 questions
Evidence Based Medicine 10 questions
Exam results= Using Standard Angoff method of Checking usually cut off marks are decided after exam and results are announced within 1 month post Exam
MRCEM INTERMEDIATE SBA EXAM OVERVIEW
OVERVIEW
Mrcem intermediate is Single best Answer (SBA) exam that is taken 2 times a year with diferent dates Usually in Feb and September of the calendar year.
Exam Consists of 180 SBA questions with 5 hours Duration
ist Paper comprising of 90 questions with 2 hours Duration ( 1 question duration is 1.5 minute)
Break of 1 hour after ist paper
2nd Paper Similarly 90 questions with 2 hours Duration
Intermediate SBA Exam is totally Clinically Exam it will test sound understanding of the full range of Conditions and Presentations that may present to the Emergency Department.
